This is the first of two short song collections where I was experimenting with pianos and odd overdubs, still using the tried and true one microphone, one take, one 4-track. However, I was living with Matthew Dahl at the time and he really liked the piano piece I wrote, so we went up to the 5th-floor studio at UMBC and recorded it at midnight, came home to our always cozy dorm room and ate vienna sausages and crackers at 2 am.
