Yes, this was named for the writer who created Winnie the Pooh. There are many references here to specific things only certain readers would know. So much happened and I was not playing alone a lot, so there are a whopping number of tracks. This was a special time of highs and lows, starting college, losing myself, and finding myself. Breaking up, reunions—too much to convey here. There is a lot of experimentation with ideas on this ‘super album’: most of it was recorded in my dorm room at The University of Maryland. Some was recorded at WUMD (now WMBC) by Joe Schwartz in the radio station at UMBC in front of a hardcore girl I really liked. When she heard my music, she laughed at me.
